See what is in your bucket, without leaving
Open a connected bucket from inside FileBackerz and move through it folder by folder, with breadcrumbs and paging for large buckets. It is a read-only view - a window into your own storage, not a second place to manage it.
Your storage account stays yours.

You contract with the provider, not with us
Connected Storage is provided by that third party under your own credentials and your own agreement with them.

Buckets, access policies, encryption settings, permissions and retention are yours to set.

Disconnecting never touches your data
If you disconnect an integration or close your account, we delete the credentials you gave us. Your content stays in your provider account.
where Customer elects to connect its own Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Storage, or Google Drive account, that provider is not a FileBackerz Subprocessor. Customer contracts with it directly and is the controller in respect of it. FileBackerz's obligations under the Data Processing Addendum do not extend to processing carried out by Customer's own storage provider.
Who pays for what
You pay your provider directly for storage, requests and data transfer, at whatever rate you have negotiated with them. We do not resell it and we do not add a margin.
You are solely responsible for: selecting and contracting with the provider; configuring buckets, containers, access policies, encryption settings, and permissions; safeguarding the credentials you supply to us; monitoring availability, durability, redundancy, and retention at the storage layer; and all fees the provider charges you, including storage, request, and data egress charges.
